A collection done en plein air and inspired by the southern Appalachian Mountains.Painting in nature is my passion, and it has long been my goal to create a series to showcase my love. The foothills of the Appalachian Mountains sparked my passion for the outdoors as a child, and I go back to bask in their misty embrace as often as I can. This trip was cold and rainy, but I came determined to capture a small piece of surrounding beauty.
